Trev’s Tips
Here’s something that most of you would be interested in.
It’s an unfortunate fact that from time to time we cause damage to our cars resulting in an unexpected bill to effect the repairs. It can be from simple every day bingles in the local car parks or self inflicted damage when we push our cars to the limit trying to climb a slippery hill or inadvertently miss judge the depth of some wheels ruts.
The usual result is that any minor damage stays unrepaired because most can not justify the expense in doing minor repairs and don’t want to compromise the no claim bonus on our insurance policy.
Well here’s some good news. I recently discovered an auto recycler in Malaga that specialises in Mitsubishi parts. Name: Mitsubie auto recyclers. They had a huge range of all kinds of parts to suit pretty much every model of Pajero. Best of all their prices were EXCELLENT.
This means that all those little bingles such as CV joints (Paul) Tail lights or side steps (Martin) Rear bumpers (next time the dent doesn’t pop out Neil) Front bumper brackets (Nicola) Sump guards (Di) Aerials (all) Can be fixed at a fair price.
Even if you are searching for some spares such as belts, hoses, extra tyres/ rims etc it is worth keeping this in mind.
