History of the track:
The Fawcett Track commemorates one of the districts early pioneers, Captain Theo Fawcett from Pinjarra. In spite of his holding of 10,000 acres at Pinjarra, and land being easily available, Captain Fawcett realised he and his family would require heavier land, so decided to look towards the other side of the Darling Range. It was here he decided to build his house on a selected piece of land....

Eight Mitsi members participated throughout the weekend from Guilderton to Jurien Bay. We learned a lot, gave valid input to the Forum, and interestingly the coast care people attending also learned that most 4WDers are not careless or destructive....that most are like them ..wanting to keep the land in care for our future generations.

Members began arriving to the Big Valley Campsite, 46 Boronia Rd, Rosa Glen, during the week ending 25 November. Big Valley Caravan Park is a caravan park in the middle of a Margaret River working sheep farm.
