Mitsubishi 4WD Owners Club of WA Inc.

The club was established in 1986 and now has around 45 member families.

We are a family oriented club which promotes safe and sensible four wheel driving and the enjoyment of our natural environment.

We welcome all brands of 4WD's however Mitsubishi Pajero’s are driven by the majority of members. Other members drive Toyota Landcriusers, Nissan Patrols, Landrovers and even a Ford F250. As we mostly drive larger 4WDs with dual range, the majority of our trips aren’t suited to “soft roaders” as low range 4WD is considered necessary.

We are affiliated with the Four Wheel Drive Association of Western Australia which is the peak body for 4 wheel drive clubs in WA.

Each month we try to conduct a day trip close to Perth as well as having many weekend and longer trips. Typical day trips include Dwellingup, Wilbinga, Lancelin, Mundaring and Sawyers Valley. Weekend trips include Margaret River, Eastern Wheatbelt, Cervantes, Jurien etc. Longer trips conducted recently include the Kimberleys, Simpson Desert, Canning Stock Route, Karijini and the Goldfields. We ask visitors on our trips for a $10 trip levy to help cover our costs.

Our club does volunteer environmental work with the Department of Conservation and Land Management, particularly on the Leschenault Peninsula near Bunbury where we visit at least twice each year.

We publish a colour newsletter each month with details of trips, photos and a lot of useful tips and information. The cost of the newsletter is included in our annual membership fees.

Our meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month (Except January) in Manning at 7.30 pm. The meetings are held at the Manning senior citizens centre located at 3 Downey Drive in Manning. You will find a map on our website.

Member subscriptions are currently $80 per year per family plus a once-off $40 nomination fee. Prior to applying for membership we ask people to attend at least two meetings and two club trips. This gives you a chance to see if our club suits you as well giving us a chance to get to know you.

If you intend coming to a meeting, contact our
Membership Officer so we can keep an eye out for you.

Please feel free to contact us for further information.
