Two Potential Overnighter Club Trips?

1/ Martins Tank  in Yalgorup National Park just 105km south of Perth.

For the first time, Yalgorup National Park will have specific sites for caravans and camper trailers, bringing the total number of campsites available to 34. This is double the number of sites that were available previously. The upgrade includes the addition of eight tent camp sites, four larger group camp sites, a camp kitchen, two communal fire pits and two toilets.

 These improved camping facilities will give more opportunity to enjoy the park’s natural wonders, such as the internationally recognised Peel-Yalgorup Ramsar wetland and its impressive migratory waterbirds  and the ancient Lake Clifton thrombolites – magnificent rock-like structures which are one of the earliest known forms of life on Earth.

 

2/ Logue Brook , Dwellingup State Forest

A new campground on the shores of Lake Brockman, 130km south of Perth, has opened.  The new campground includes five camping loops with 126 new camp sites to accommodate about 540 campers, plus 2.5 kilometres of internal roads, nine toilet blocks, five barbecue shelters and picnic tables, and fire rings at each camp site.

The boat ramp and trailer parking area also underwent significant upgrades, making it easier for people to launch and retrieve boats.

There’s plenty to do including picnicking, bike riding, waterskiing, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and swimming. Don’t forget to pack the bikes so you can ride the mountain bike “pump” track.    It will keep kids entertained for hours (maybe days even).
