Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday March 1st, at the Manning Seniors Centre, commencing at 7.30pm.
Elections will be held for the following Committee positions:
President, Secretary, Training Co-ordinator, Environmental Officer, Property Officer, and I.T. Administrator
A Nomination Form for any of these positions on the Committee of Management is available from the Members Page on the Club Website. Completed Nomination Forms must be received by the Secretary before 5.00pm on Wednesday February 22nd.
PROPOSAL: At the January Committee Meeting, a proposal was prepared in order to ensure our Rules of Association comply with The Associations Incorporation Act 2015. One proposed amendment was a new sub-rule which covered members eligibility to serve on the Committee. In compliance with the Act members are asked to review the following amendment before voting on the changes at the AGM.

RULE 10 – COMMITTEE OF MANAGEMENT
Rule 10.2 A member will not be eligible for election (under sub rule 10.3) or appointment (under sub rule 10.8) if they:
Where a member is prohibited because they have been convicted of an offence they cannot be a committee member for a period of five years from their conviction, except where the conviction resulted in imprisonment, in which case they cannot be a committee member for five years from their release from custody.
