Piston Broke Awards… A snippet of Club history.

Tony and Stella are Life Members with a 28yr membership.
"This Club for generations had two major awards, the Ian Lockhart award, named after our founder and first president and, since 1989, the Piston Broke award.
The latter has been awarded to the person or persons who have most comprehensively stuffed up and/or caused the greatest amusement for other Club members on a Club run or event.

Kalbarri skywalks capture new gorge views
Sealed roads and cutting-edge viewing structures will soon provide exciting and accessible panoramas of the Murchison River Gorge in Kalbarri National Park.
New skywalks will take people of all ages and abilities beyond the gorge rim more than 100m above the Murchison River for breathtaking, unobstructed views. The sealed road, parking for coaches and large caravans, shade shelters and toilets will make the trip significantly more comfortable.

We have been doing a sausage sizzle at Bunnings Joondalup for two years now and raised well over $3,000. A considerable portion of the money raised has gone to purchasing materials for Rangeland’s projects (as DPaW’s funding has been very seriously reduced). This has meant we have continued with important Rangelands work where otherwise, nothing would have been done.
We need helpers to sizzle those sausages, fill orders and most importantly take the money! J
