LADIES DAY – YEAL NATURE RESERVE

NOT TAKING ANY CHANCES
We started the day at 9.30am and departed from Muchea roadhouse, after grabbing some breakfast and cuppas, including a run down of the day. We then headed in the direction of the airfield off Brand Highway.
We turned into Duffy Rd where some of us (ie me) learnt to air down.
Then off we headed to have a go at 4WDing
We drove for about an hour then stopped for lunch and a chat. With only 7 cars in convoy, it was the perfect number to be learning and great chatting with everyone and getting to know people. We also sang Happy Birthday to Pam.
After about 1 /1/2 hours we reached the Gin Gin Hwy and learnt to air up…then we had a good look under the bonnet (haha)
Most of the group headed to the end of the trip …nearby Gingin Gravity Discovery Centre for a cuppa and ice cream and some went home.
Some stayed to play with water balloons..dropped from the top of the tower.
A nice day out with a great bunch of people.
I would highly recommend the Ladies Day and would love to see a ladies beach driving day.
